Strenghtening Career Pathways
I led the design of a $17 million grant program that found solutions for students in middle and high school chart clear, fulfilling paths from classroom to career.
I design strategies, implement projects, and build solutions for social impact organizations, nonprofits, and grassroots organizations. I specialize in driving growth and deepening impact through data management and analysis, internal capacity-building, social innovation design, and privacy and cybersecurity.
I currently train surgeons π©Ί across Africa and Asia and teach machine learning at MIT π€ to learners from conflict zones across the world.
But more importantly,Over the last 10 years, I've worked on a number of projects and teams that solve complex problems at local level and a global scale. I've been a part of a variety of projects and teams, such as improving the cybersecurity infrastructure of a human rights archive in Yemen and Syria; designing and launching a community advocacy solution in Peru; creating Connecticut's first digital tool to understand policy issues for people facing homelessness; and many others.
I got my start helping organizations use technology and data to better support their communities, which eventually took me to SEWA in India, where I helped lead their Digital Initiatives program. We worked to expand access to social security and digital literacy for thousands of women. That experience got me thinking bigger about systems-level change, which led me to MIT, where I built the impact evaluation team at MIT Solve. Since then, Iβve focused more on career readiness and healthcare by designing the $17 million Catalyze Challenge, supporting mentoring programs like ConexiΓ³n in Boston, and now working at SELF, where I help train surgeons and nurses in low-resource settings with practical, procedure-based education. I also teach displaced students through MIT Emerging Talent, helping them build skills and confidence to pursue meaningful careers in tech and science.
I am a graduate of Berkeley's School of Information Masters of Information Management Systems program. I received a graduate certificate in Information and Communication Technology for Development (ICTD) and I am an inaugral member of the Digital Transformation of Development (DToD) Fellowship, an NSF Research Traineeship (NRT) Program. I am also proud graduate from The Ohio State University with degrees in International Development, Economics, and French.
